After destroying Halo, John-117, who managed to escape from Halo, did his best to gather the scattered remnants of the human forces and tried to return to Earth. The planet Farscape was not completely destroyed by the Covenant, and most of John-117's men are still alive. This is because there is a light on the planet that the Covenant people are eager to obtain.
